MagRestore® is formulated for superior bio-availabilityand
palatability. Magnesium is needed for over 300 biochemicalreactions
in the body and is vital to nerve and muscle function.
MagRestore®, our magnesium malate, a patented form of
magnesium, consists of one molecule of malic acid attached to two
molecules of magnesium, and represents an excellent source of
magnesium and malic acid, with superior bio-availability. In
addition, as malate does not react with gastric acids, it does not
upset the digestive system as is sometimes the case with other
forms of magnesium.
Magnesium is found at significant levels throughout the body,
and is involved in a number of reactions including muscle
relaxation, blood coagulation and manufacture of ATP, the body’s
principal energy molecule. It's vital for efficient circulation,
the adrenals, hormones, pulmonary function to name a few.Malic acid
crosses the blood-brain barrier easily and binds to aluminum in the
brain, preventing an unwelcome build-up of the metal. Furthermore,
di-magnesium malate is an excellent chelator and by replacing
aluminum with magnesium, it eliminates aluminum from the body, at
the same time making magnesium available to neurons.

This is a pre-testimonial because everything I have heard about the MagRestore has convinced me to try this for my 19 year old otherwise fit and healthy endurance mare. She was such a GREAT MOUNT for a number of years, amenable and smart, but since recovering form a banged up stifle 2 years ago, she has not been the same. We tried chiropractic and it has helped but she is still not herself. We tried massage and belly lifts and spent more time warming up - still not herself. Her symptoms? New to ME was grousing when saddling or even good grooming, pinned ears, and sometimes a bit of snapping at me. Her otherwise soft buoyant movement is sometimes stilted and stiff. She is not trotting softly on declines, she is stiff-legged and slow. Rest hasn't helped, slow warmups have not helped - at least not much. I did not want to even bother with the cheaper Mag Ox supplements, so have deiced to try this one and will return with updates on my mare. Miss Shae is my 19 year old 14.2 black Arabian, and if this works for HER, I will start my 20 year old on it. Miss Fudge is my bay Arabian mare and has a number of distance miles on her, and is otherwise injury free, should but a bit of a harder keeper and very excitable at times. Not spooky, she just likes to throw two or three tantrums a hear and tips her head a lot under saddle. I didn't see any reviews on endurance horses here so thought that I will spend a little time journaling this process and see if I can't get my mares back! No reason they can't go back to endurance if we can lick these issues.
The difference in his attitude, for the better, is unbelievable.

MagRestore - Equine Magnesium Supplementshop.performanceequinenutrition.comMagnesium plays an important part in nerve and muscle function. Horses deficient in this important element can show signs of nervousness, wariness, excitability ...This is the second year I have had my nervous-I-don't-have-to-always-listen-horse on MagRestore. The difference in his attitude, for the better, is unbelievable. There is a softness in his eyes that wasn't there before. I do a lot of liberty work with my horses, he has become a much more compliant and willing participant. Bath times are more enjoyable for him. His skin has stopped crawling when he's standing quietly. An added benefit is that I have been able to take him off allergy supplements. His flaky dandruff is gone. This is the second Spring environmental allergies haven't effected him. Gone are the puffy eyes and the white "allergy snot". This horse is now 22 and has been with me since he was two. It is a welcome miracle to see the horse on a daily basis, that I used to only catch fleeting glimpses of. My biggest regret is not learning about MagRestore sooner.I recommend MagRestore to anyone owning a horse displaying nervousness, lack of focus, lack of willingness to be compliant, environmental allergy issues.

Mag Restore has given me the calm and compliant horse I always knew was in there. We live in a high allergen environment. An added benefit is that I no longer need to keep my horse on anything for his environmental allergies. Flare-ups have become minimal instead of miserable.I highly recommend this product to anyone with a nervous horse, spooky horse, a horse that "says no just to say no", or any combination.Having the MagRestore also control his environmental allergies has been a wonderful added perk.

Although I just started using MagRestore, I am so far impressed. I have an 8y/o OTTB who weaves terribly, sometimes at such an intensity that he checks out. Since being on MagRestore the weaving has subsided in frequency and intensity. I can't wait to see if the weaving will stop altogether.I am buying more today! :)
Horse with Shivers
From Aimee King of Blythewood, South Carolina on 10/13/2015.
I have an upper level dressage horse with shivers and this product has tremendously helped him to have a better quality of life. He is much more calm, and his "shivers" have improved dramatically. I use this product in combination with a few other natural things to maintain him and he is doing incredible.
